Science Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math (STEAM) Team

Our belief is that learning where you live instills a sense of responsibility and ownership in our youth, incentivizing their investments to give back, making positive change and community development possible. We understand the value of physical connection when learning and working with others.

The King Urban Life Center afterschool STEAM Team is free of charge to all participants in grades K-8. We deliver exceptional service by engaging and exposing students to a wide variety of educational and cultural programming they may otherwise not experience. Our afterschool STEAM Team supports a variety of innovative school-age programs through various partnerships throughout the city of Buffalo. Some of our many collaborators include our long-standing relationship with the Buffalo Museum of Science which offers weekly inhouse science activities.
