Remembering Dr. King's Legacy

On Wednesday, April 4, the King Urban Life Center gathered to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on this, the 50th anniverary of his assassination.  At 7:01pm, the church bells were rung 39 times, honoring each year in the life of Dr. King who died at 39 years old.  Thereafter, multiple bells rang continuously for five minutes, as a reminder of Dr. King's unwavering dedication to bringing peace, love, and freedom to our world.  Coverage of the event was featured on WKBW; see link is attached below.
